The RMA supports the wider Corps Family from cradle to grave in the following manner: * Mentors for every Recruit Troop undergoing the famous arduous commando training.* Royal Marines and their families as they undertake operations in Afghanistan and elsewhere.* Families of Royal Marines killed in action.* Visits and financial assistance for the wounded and their families.* Significant welfare for Royal Marines veterans and their families.* Morale boosting parades and reunions for young and old to meet. Our aim is to raise £50,000 this year to support a study into a Respite Holiday Hotel where young marines and veterans with families can take a well earned rest. This is for people who cannot normally afford such luxuries.
